Beer Near Here Desktop
Beer Near Here Desktop (BNHD) is the Adobe AIR version of beernearhere.net. In fact, BNHD is really the project I was working on it just so happened that creating a companion website resolved some issues nicely and gave all things Beer Near Here a central gathering place.
Beer Near Here is the end result of an experiment to see what could be accomplished with AIR in a short period of time. To keep things interesting I restricted myself to using only Actionscript 3, MXML and Flex Builder (well, and Photoshop for graphics) as the means for creating the app with the goal of making a visually rich and appealing application that makes good use of the features of AIR.
