Prototype
Prototype is my first book created using only archival materials. The pages are an acid free drawing paper, the binding thread is linen coated with beeswax and the adhesive a wheat paste. The cover is an acid free, heavy weight bristol with a vellum surface.
The cover artwork is a drawing of my own design that wraps around from the front to the back. The bookmark is braided thread that is sewn into the binding.
